What higher calling can there be than to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ?  And what better way to do that, for musicians, than to compose and arrange music focused on Him?  Beautiful music, that not only speaks to the human soul, but also echos God’s Word.

SFB’s mission statement is to “Infuse Bluegrass, Celtic and Folk music with the Light of the Gospel.”  Drawing on their Scotch/Irish heritage and the airy sound of folk music, the Stones have branched out and created a sound all their own.  If anything is to be noticed about this family, it is their soaring harmonies and love for people.

After the loss of Isaac (their son and brother) in 2007, the Stone family turned more attention to music, as a balm to the soul.  The band officially kicked-off in the Spring of 2008.  Their knitted hearts and family voices resound together in uplifted harmonies.

It is the prayer of SFB that God will use their music to bless and encourage His people and touch the hearts of all who hear.

“So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: It shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” {Isaiah 55:11}
