People are shocked when they ask how we got together as a band and we respond, “We’re a family, so I guess we were born into it.” In a world where family life is minimized, we are quite an oddity. Added to our list of quirkiness is the fact that we play music. Together.
The Stone Family Band consists of five persons: Michael, Julia, Anna, Emily and Olivia Stone. God gave us a son and brother, Isaac, to live on earth with us until just after his thirty-second birthday. It was shortly after his passing into Heaven that we began playing music as a balm to our souls.
The purpose of our music is to glorify God first and foremost. We also trust that it comforts, encourages, soothes, brings joy and gives hope to people.

Absolutely fell in love with your music at the recent 301 bluegrass festival in Waldo, Florida. Keep it coming. This was the first time I’d heard you….gorgeous harmonies with the Lord shining through!
Am playing your “Maiden Voyage” CD I bought at the 301 Bluegrass event a couple of weeks ago almost constantly in my car. Your harmonies and the accompanying glorious music always lift my spirit heavenwards…..May God richly bless your endeavors !
